Holiday Marketplace Sample Piece

Here is a sample piece that I have finished for the Holiday Marketplace that is taking place this November. I call this type of art "Hanging Gardens". These window hangings are fun to make because all of the various shapes and sizes involved. I have the freedom to arrange the pieces, angles and trim as I want and use mostly scrap glass I have left over from other projects. On this particular piece I decided to accent decorative straw as a ribbon to highlight the shine of the glass. I recommend experimenting with different mediums with your glass work or whatever your craft may be. I often use sea shells and gems.

I call this piece "Pick My Petunia".
